When you're ready to go somewhere within our Alderwood service area, book a ride with Zip Shuttle for a quick and easy trip.
Book a ride by calling (425) 521-5600 or via the GOIN' app (Apple App, Android App). Confirm your pick-up and drop-off location within the Alderwood service area (see our map).
Once we confirm your ride, we’ll be on our way to pick you up. Please be prepared and outside at the curb when your Zip vehicle arrives. Look for the blue and white Community Transit Zip vehicle.
Similar to taking other Community Transit services, you may be riding with other passengers on Zip. There may be other passengers on board the vehicle when it arrives to pick you up, or other passengers may be picked up after you’ve started your trip.
Are you traveling with a mobility device like a scooter or wheelchair? No problem! Our accessible vehicles will get you to your destination safely. Our trained drivers will help secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices when needed.
Sometimes plans change. Zip's flexible and convenient service makes canceling easy. If you need to cancel your ride, do so as early as possible to keep the service zipping along for other riders. Please be aware that cancellations and no-shows may affect your ability to book future rides. See our cancellation policy for details.
You can pay for your Zip ride with an ORCA card, a debit or credit card, or cash (exact change required). Plus, no added service fees or tipping with Zip!
Save when you pay with your ORCA card. Travel over a period of two hours with just one fare! This includes multiple trips and transfers to buses and other regional transit options.

Zip Shuttle Alderwood was a one-year pilot, designed with assistance from community members to help make getting around the area easier. Throughout the pilot period, Community Transit gathered public feedback to develop this program into a travel option that meets the community's needs. The Lynnwood community provided overwhelming support for the service during a public engagement period that occurred from August 3 – September 7, 2023, with 94% of respondents supporting the service and its continuation past pilot period. On October 5, 2023, the Board of Directors approved for Zip Shuttle Alderwood to continue as a regular service for Community Transit.
