Bay changes coming to some transit centers on March 29

Changes at local transit centers improve connections for riders

Starting March 29, some bus routes will move to new bays at transit centers to improve connections for riders. These updates will make transfers easier and more efficient, grouping buses that travel to the same destinations in the same boarding locations. Additionally, most bus schedules are changing on March 29, so all riders should check their schedule before this date.

Why are these changes happening?

  • Community Transit has four service changes throughout the year: two larger service changes at the start of spring and fall, and two smaller service changes at the start of summer and winter.
  • These changes improve connections between buses, adjust schedules for actual travel times, and make Community Transit service more reliable. In some cases, these changes are in response to rider comments and requests.
