What’s changing on Route 209?

  • New routing: Route 209 will now follow Soper Hill Rd and 83rd Ave NE.
  • New bus stops: Several new stops will be added along the updated route, giving riders more options for where they can get on and off the bus in an area where there was no bus service before.
  • Some stops removed: A small number of stops along the old route will no longer be served, so riders who use those stops should check the new map and schedule to see where their closest stop will be.

Why is Route 209 changing?
The route change for Route 209 will add new stops along Soper Hill Rd, where there are new residential developments. Previously, this section of the route primarily traveled down Hwy 9 and did not have any stops in this section, so we are adding more stops to reach more people. Some stops will be removed, but new stops will be not too far away.

What you need to do before March 29
If you ride Route 209, make sure to check the new schedule and updated bus stop locations ahead of time. Even if your stop isn’t affected, the schedule may be slightly adjusted to reflect the new routing.
