On Aug. 30, Link light rail arrives in Snohomish County. At this time, some Community Transit buses will connect riders to light rail stations at Lynnwood City Center Station (formerly Lynnwood Transit Center), Mountlake Terrace Station (formerly Mountlake Terrace Transit Center), and Northgate Station. This is a great time to test out light rail if you have never ridden it before.
Starting Sept. 14, Community Transit will implement major changes to bus service. Many bus routes will be modified or replaced with new ones designed to connect directly to light rail. It’s likely that you'll need to take a different bus to reach light rail at that time.
From Aug. 30 to Sept. 13, the following buses will serve these transit centers, providing convenient connections for riders to light rail.
Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station
Please note: Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station connects to Mountlake Terrace Station, but requires an approximately 5-minute walk from the bus bays in the center of the freeway across to the light rail platform.

Planning your trip
Use Plan My Trip to plan your connection from bus to light rail, and make sure to plan your return trip as well. Keep in mind that Link light rail operates trains later than Community Transit bus service, so if your return trip is at night be sure to check if your bus is still in service.
New to transit? Here is how you pay for your ride.
Starting Sept. 14, Community Transit buses will no longer serve Northgate and downtown Seattle, with the exception of Route 424, which does not travel on I-5. Instead, Community Transit buses will connect riders to light rail at Lynnwood City Center Station, Mountlake Terrace Station, and Shoreline North/185th Station.
