Routes 106 & 130 will have changes starting September 14

Buses will have new routing; riders should review their stop

On Sept. 14, Community Transit will make major changes to bus service, and riders will have more travel options in Snohomish County. Routes 106 (Mariner Park & Ride - Bothell) and 130 (Edmonds - Lynnwood) will have changes to their routing that may affect how you travel.

Changes to Route 106 (Mariner Park & Ride – Bothell)

Route 106 will be changing in Bothell between Canyon Park Park & Ride and UW Bothell/Cascadia College.

  • Starting at Canyon Park Park & Ride, the route will continue south along Bothell Way and east along NE 185th St to UW Bothell/Cascadia College.
  • For bus service along the eliminated path of Route 106 along 228th St SE to 29th Dr SE, riders can take updated Route 120 (Canyon Park – Lynnwood), which then continues south through downtown Bothell.
  • For bus service east of I-405, riders can take new Route 121 (Ash Way Park & Ride – Canyon Park/UW Bothell).

Changes to Route 130 (Edmonds – Lynnwood)  Route 130 will change in Edmonds.

  • Starting at Edmonds Station, the route will continue along Dayton St and 100th Ave W, then follow the same path it currently does.
  • Route 130 will no longer serve 5th Ave S and Hwy 104 to Edmonds Way.  For bus service in this area, riders can take new Route 909 (Edmonds – Mountlake Terrace). Riders can also take Route 909 to connect with light rail at Mountlake Terrace Station.
  • Route 130 will connect riders to light rail at Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood City Center stations.

Important dates

  • Friday, Aug. 30 – Link light rail arrives in Snohomish County.   
  • Sunday, Sept. 1 – Community Transit will be updating fares. All standard adult fares for all Community Transit bus service will be $2.50. 
  • Saturday, Sept. 14 – Community Transit’s major service change.
