New routes serving Lynnwood High School, Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry, Lynnwood City Center, UW Bothell coming this fall

Routes 103, 117, and 121 begin service September 14

Starting Sept. 14, Community Transit will have major changes to bus service, including three new routes in south Snohomish County.  New Routes 103 and 117 will connect riders to the Link light rail in Lynnwood, while new Route 121 will serve new areas along North Rd and SR 524, including Lynnwood High School. These updates will replace some existing routes, enhancing overall service in the area. Learn more about the upcoming changes below.


New: Route 103 (Seaway - Lynnwood)

Route 103 is a new local route that will travel between Seaway Transit Center, Kamiak High School, Mukilteo Harbor Pointe, Lake Serene, the Alderwood Mall, and Lynnwood City Center Station (formerly Lynnwood Transit Center. Route 103 will provide all-day service across the north end of Paine Field, and frequent service at peak commute times. It will connect to the Swift Blue, Swift Green, and Swift Orange lines. Route 103 might be your new route if you currently ride Route 107 or 113.

New Route 117 (Mukilteo - Lynnwood)

Route 117 is a new local route traveling between the Mukilteo Clinton Ferry and Lynnwood City Center Station (formerly Lynnwood Transit Center). It will serve SR 525, Mukilteo Speedway, and the Alderwood Mall. It will operate all day and connect to the Swift Blue and Swift Orange lines. Route 117 might be your new route if you are a current Route 107 or 113 rider.

New Route 121 (Ash Way - Bothell)

Route 121 is a new local route traveling between Ash Way Park & Ride, Canyon Park, and UW Bothell/Cascadia College. It will serve new areas of North Rd, and SR 524, including Lynnwood High School. It will connect to the Swift Green and Swift Orange lines.

  • During the midday and evening, Route 121 will run between Ash Way Park & Ride and Canyon Park Park & Ride only.
  • During peak morning and afternoon travel times, Route 121 will take over the route where Route 106 currently runs between Canyon Park Park & Ride and UW Bothell/Cascadia College.
  • Updated Route 106 will continue south from Canyon Park Park & Ride along Bothell Way and NE 185th St to UW Bothell/Cascadia College.

Important dates

  • Friday, Aug. 30 – Link light rail arrives in Snohomish County.   
  • Sunday, Sept. 1 – Community Transit will be updating fares. All standard adult fares for all Community Transit bus service will be $2.50. 
  • Saturday, Sept. 14 – Community Transit’s major service change.
