At Community Transit, we are always listening to your feedback to guide us in making our services better. Recently, we made some updates to our website to improve the online experience for our riders. In the coming months, more updates will be added to continue these improvements. Read on to get the full scoop!
Updates to our Maps & Schedules
We heard from riders that trying to print a schedule from our old Maps & Schedules webpage was complicated and didn’t look great. We’ve been making improvements, and our latest update includes a newly redesigned print view. This print view is easier to understand and allows for more customization depending on your needs, including the option to select the stops you frequently use and a simplified route map. It also requires less paper - in many cases, just one page is needed to print your schedule!
Future updates:
Improvements to Plan My Trip
Coming in 2024, the new version of Plan My Trip will give riders the opportunity to plan trips for the Zip Alderwood Shuttle. The update will also give you increased flexibility in how you plan out your trip, especially when you are making connections between Zip and other transit modes.
Updated website banners
An upcoming redesign of our website banners - the highlighted message that appears on the top of the website - will allow you to quickly and easily view important information, like holiday service times or snow schedule alerts.
ORCA card calculator
We have heard from riders that determining which ORCA card you qualify for can be a complex process. A new interactive tool will help you easily determine which ORCA card you’re eligible for and provide information on how to apply for a card.
More Maps & Schedules updates
More improvements will be coming to the route map and schedule printing experience, including improvements for printing Swift schedules.
