Board workshop and selection meeting, Jan. 20

Snohomish County, Wash. – The Community Transit Board of Directors will discuss several items at its quarterly workshop at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 20.

The board will hear updates from staff on:

• Transit 2024 Survey Results
• Recruitment Campaign
• Zero-Emission Fleet Study
• Facility Master Plan Overview

The board holds quarterly workshops in January, April, July, and October for staff updates, in addition to its regular business meetings the first Thursday of each month. Board selection

At 4:30 p.m., a special meeting of the city representatives within the Snohomish County Public Transportation Benefit Area will be held to select members of the board for the 2022-23 term. Community Transit is responsible for providing bus and paratransit service, vanpool and alternative commute options in Snohomish County. The agency is building a network of Swift bus rapid transit lines with Swift Blue Line along Highway 99, the Swift Green Line between Canyon Park/Bothell and Boeing/Paine Field, and the Swift Orange Line coming to Mill Creek and Lynnwood in 2024.
