Contest rules

  • Prize Limitations: Participants are eligible to win only one prize during the challenge, regardless of the number of prize categories they qualify for. If a participant qualifies for multiple prize categories, they will receive the highest-value prize they qualify for.

  • Prize Allocation: Each participant is eligible to win only one prize. In the event of a tie for a specific prize category, a winner will be selected by random drawing. Participants will not receive multiple prizes across different categories.

  • Prize Distribution: Prize winners will be notified via email or phone within 4 weeks after the challenge concludes. If a winner does not respond within 14 days, the prize may be forfeited, and another winner will be selected.

  • Prize Acceptance: By accepting a prize, winners consent to publicity related to the challenge, including their names being posted on the Bike & Bus Everywhere Challenge landing page.

  • Trip Logging Accuracy: Participants are responsible for accurately logging their bike and bus trips. Any false or inaccurate trip entries may result in disqualification.

  • Trip Logging Verification: We trust participants to log their trips honestly. In rare cases where something seems highly unlikely or inconsistent, we reserve the right to follow up to verify the entry.

  • Eligibility Verification: Participants may be required to provide proof of residency, employment, or school enrollment in Snohomish County (SnoCo) if requested.

  • Trip Categories: Participants must clearly categorize their trips as either bike or bus on the Trip Log Calendar in RideshareOnline.com. Any mixed-mode trips should be logged accordingly (e.g., biking to a bus stop and then taking the bus).

  • Trip Validation: All trips logged must occur during the official challenge period, and entries should be submitted by the final submission deadline.

  • Organizers' Right to Disqualify: The challenge organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for failure to follow the rules, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the event.

  • Multiple Entries for the Same Trip: Participants may only log each trip once. Duplicate entries for the same trip will be disqualified.

  • Multiple Participants from the Same Household/Workplace/School: If multiple participants are from the same household, workplace, or school, each participant is eligible for individual prizes. However, they cannot combine their mileage totals to compete in group categories.
