Contest rules and terms

 

Eligibility

This contest is open to participants who are at least 13 years old. Participants must have a valid Instagram account. 

 

How to Enter

Share Your Ride

Participants must: 

  1. Take a picture of themselves using a Community Transit service. This includes bus, DART, vanpool, and Zip Alderwood shuttle services.  
  2. Follow Community Transit on Instagram. 
  3. Post their photo on Instagram. Tag @communitytransit and include #LetsRideCT in the post. 
  4. Participants may post more than once. Each post will count towards one entry towards a weekly contest for a chance to win some cool Community Transit swag.  
  5. Winners will be drawn once a week during June, beginning on June 9. 

Ride Transit Bingo

Participants must: 

  1. Print out or save the Ride Transit Month Bingo card to their mobile device.  
  2. Mark off the boxes as they complete each challenge. A completed card for entry will be a row, column, or blackout (all boxes complete). 
  3. Follow Community Transit on Instagram. 
  4. Snap a photo of their completed card. 
  5. Share it on Instagram. 
  6. Tag @CommunityTransit and include #LetsRideCT in the post. 
  7. Each completed card will count towards one entry towards a weekly drawing for prizes! 
  8. Winners will be drawn once a week during June, beginning on June 9.

Entry period

Entries will be taken from Thursday, June 1 through June 29 at 3 p.m. PT. Community Transit will draw winners starting Friday, June 9 and ending Friday, June 30. Entries received outside the specified entry period will not be considered. 

Winner selection

Two winners will be drawn once a week during Ride Transit Month (June), starting Thursday, June 8. The two winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. 

A designated Community Transit representative will conduct the selection process. 

The number of winners and the prize(s) will be clearly stated in the contest announcement. One prize per person.  

Winner notification 

The winner(s) will be announced on Community Transit’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. Community Transit will contact the winners via direct message about collecting their prize. The winner(s) must respond within 7 business days and provide any necessary information to claim their prize. Failure to respond or supply the required information within the specified time may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

Prizes

The nature of the prize(s) and their value will be clearly stated in the contest announcement. 

Prizes are non-transferable, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. 

Community Transit reserves the right to substitute the prize(s) with another of equal or greater value if circumstances require. 

Rights to content 

By entering the drawing, participants grant Community Transit permission to use, reproduce, and share their entry content (such as photos, captions, or comments) for promotional purposes related to the contest or the Community Transit’s brand. 

Compliance with Instagram Guidelines

This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram. 

Participants agree to release Instagram from any responsibility or liability related to the contest. 

Participants must comply with all applicable Instagram guidelines, terms of use, and community guidelines throughout the contest. 

General conditions

Community Transit reserves the right to change, suspend, or cancel the drawing if unforeseen circumstances or technical issues arise. 

Community Transit’s decisions about any aspect of the contest, including winner selections, are final and binding. 

Participants agree to abide by these official rules and all applicable laws and regulations.
